The first instrument:
Amati

March/1992 Shop: DAC,Shin-Ohkubo） > Now picturing.

second instrument: BACH 440G (current playing)
（Got it in November/1998 Shop: ACTUS,
Shibuya） 
Impression About Amati and Bach
Amati:
It was manufactured in Czech-Slovakia. It is very high-pitch
instrument, almost 'H'. (The true pitch is Bb.) It has some weak tone. For
example, E flat is difficult tone to sound and high C is few hit sound.
But Amati is my first BASSTRUMPET. I am attached to it.
Bach：
The valves are smooth. No weak tone. Good balanced.
My first impression of this instrument was
hard to hold!
because I could not hook my little finger of my left hand on the instrument.
It has "gold-brass"
bell. The catalogue of the manufacture did not insert gold-brass bell (It
inserted only yellow brass and silver bell). So the price sheet did not
insert gold-brass bell either, the shop staff could not know the right price of
the instruments until called back from the manufacturer when I bought it.
The color of this instrument is very beautiful. I love it.
The mouthpiece I use with this instrument is 7C,
Bach. Smaller than one I use with the trombone.

Anytime I joined in the Pistonclub, I played the basstrumpet.
